UPDATE (Mon Dec 14 8:00 AM): I am at school and my room is open for extra help.
Here we go! Here are some things to know as we enter the last school week of 2009:
- Monday - E8B / R7C / R7F: revise / edit stories
- Tuesday – R7C / R7F – History test / extra time for stories
- Wednesday – Gr 7/8 trip to Body Worlds
- Thursday – E8B / R7C / R7F – Persuasive Writing Diagnostic / publish stories in lab on Google Docs
- Friday – last day before the Winter Break!
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak with me during second nutrition break. (I will come down to pick you up at 1:25 in front of the cafeteria.)
E8B / R7C / R7F: Short Stories / Narrative Unit
Short stories are due at the end of next week so they can be marked over the holiday break. More information, including the rubric which will be used to mark the stories can be found here.
You need to have finished your draft before class starts on Monday. All work is to be done in class. Since you can’t take your story home, if you need extra time to work on your narratives, please see me during second recess. My room will be open as early as 8:00 AM on Monday Dec 14 unless my daughter is born over the weekend. I will try to post an update on this class website if I am unavailable.
E8B / R7C / R7F Reading Responses
Reading Response C is due on Monday. Please make sure you share it with my Google Docs email address: Michael.Fuchigami@LDHSS.OCDSB.ca
Next week, you need to select your best Reading Response from term 2 for me to mark. (Either Reading Response A, B, or C.) Please make sure the title of your Google Document includes the following items (or I may not be able to find it).
- Please put MARK ME in the title of your Google Document.
- Your full name
- Your class
- Make sure you spell Reading Response correctly.
- Please make sure you have spaces between the words.
For example, R7F MARK ME – First Last – Reading Response B – Title of my Book
R7C / R7F: History Test
Our history test on British North America is on Tuesday.
