My name is Mike Fuchigami and I am thrilled to teach your child this year. It’s very exciting to be the first group of students at Longfields-Davidson Heights and I look forward to working with you to maximize the learning experiences of your child. I appreciate your continued patience as we move through the growing pains of opening a new school.
I have been teaching in our school board for the last five years and working with children for the last fourteen years in Canada and around the world. Some of the countries where I have taught or worked in education include Canada, Australia, Thailand, Zambia, and Israel/Palestine.
This newsletter contains some information about my literacy program. More information will be available on Meet the Teacher night which is on Tue Sep 15. If you have any questions, concerns or would like to set up an appointment to discuss your child’s performance, please don’t hesitate to contact me through the school at 613.843.7722 or via email. You can also always write a note in your child’s agenda asking me to contact you.
